The Lead Hornsmith
Benjamin Allen has been repairing brass musical instruments since 2003. He's worked in some of the top musical instrument repair and retail facilities in the southern United States. Ben has trained with and worked alongside some of the top brass instrument repair technicians in the US, while becoming renowned with some of the best horn makers in the world. He played 4th horn in the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra for two years, and specializes in all brass musical instruments.
Our Mission
"All of the greatest achievements of my life have been the result of playing the french horn. Learning to play any instrument teaches us that we don't always begin good at something. It takes time, patience, and practice to feel confident in your performance. But maintenance shouldn't be something you as the player need to worry about. Yes, there are things you can do hygienically, but your focus should be on playing and getting better. A properly functioning instrument is key to progressing your craft, and that's where we come in." - Ben
